Join SANE, Inc. for its 2nd Annual Very Merry Cookie Crawl on December 6, 2020 in Downtown Watkinsville. A fun family event that benefits local businesses, guests of the tree lighting/parade, and SANE, Inc.

Safety precautions due to COVID-19 will be taken and all cookies will be individually wrapped!

For a $25 donation to SANE, crawlers receive a map and a cookie container, which participating businesses/tents in Downtown Watkinsville will fill with cookies for free from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 6.

The cookie crawl coincides with the Christmas on Main Street Watkinsville Parade and Tree Lighting. The annual parade down Main Street will begin at 4 p.m. and be followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. on the steps of the Oconee County Courthouse, so make sure to grab your cookie containers early so you’ll have sweet treats to snack on during the parade, or the whole family can enjoy the cookie crawl after the parade while waiting for the tree lighting!

LIMITED SUPPLY – only 200 cookie containers will be sold. Crawlers may purchase and pick-up their cookie container at the SANE tent in the Oconee State Bank parking lot at the Holiday Market, located at 35 N Main St, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Interested in Registering Your Business to Be a Stop Along the Crawl?

As a local business you are cordially invited to participate in the Christmas Cookie Crawl. To participate, you have two options. Option 1 is to pay a registration fee of $50 and provide 200 individually wrapped cookies (1 per container). We will provide you with a flyer for your window advertising that you are a stop on the Christmas Cookie Crawl. Option 2 is to pay a registration and cookie fee of $125 and SANE will provide you with 200 individually wrapped cookies. We will provide you with a flyer for your window advertising that you are a stop on the Christmas Cookie Crawl.

SANE, Inc. is the sole provider of forensic medical exams for any adult or child who has experienced sexual or physical violence in Oconee, Clarke, Greene, Morgan, Banks, Barrow, Jackson, Madison, Oglethorpe and Walton Counties. Our medical providers and advocates are specifically trained to meet the immediate medical needs of survivors and aid the criminal justice system by collecting valuable evidence.
