Volunteering and other ways to help

You can make a difference in the lives of survivors who have suffered sexual or physical violence. It’s through monetary gifts, physical donations, and volunteers that SANE is able to continue its mission of providing victim forensic examinations, evidence collection, court testimony, and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault.

HOST YOUR OWN FUNDRAISER

There are many ways to raise money that can work well for your company, organization, church, or school. Make it exciting and fun for all ages or host an elegant event for adults. Whatever you choose the impact you make will forge a path of healing for those who need it.

FILL THE FRIDGE

Host a food drive to gather items from the wish list. Food items are offered to non-offending caregivers and survivors of assault and abuse while they wait and during a forensic medical exam.

CLOTHING DRIVE

Host a clothing drive to gather items for the wish list. Clothing items are very important as the initial step of healings. Because clothes are often taken as evidence, a victim needs new items to wear home. Comfy and cozy can make a big difference.

VOLUNTEER AT A SANE EVENT

Volunteer your time and skills at one of our events. Because SANE is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 agency, we hold several events each year to raise funds so we can continue our important work with survivors. We are always looking for volunteers to sit on event committees to help us coordinate our events.
