Below is a list of businesses that have supported SANE, Inc. over the last year or so. It is because of their support that we can continue offering services during this difficult time. • Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C. in Athens, Atlanta and Lake Oconee is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for real estate closings and client meetings, with some staff working remotely. Soap and hand sanitizer are available for visitors and other cleaning measures have been strictly enforced.
• Butcher & Vine the butcher shop in Watkinsville is currently open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Boards to-go are available. Customers can call ahead to have a meat order prepared and it can be delivered or picked up curbside.
• Chick-fil-A in Athens is continuing to implement operational changes as necessary to protect employees and customers. The dining room is temporarily closed, but mobile ordering, drive-thru, catering pick-up, and catering delivery is operational. 
• Chops and Hops in Watkinsville is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The full menu is available right now for limited dine-in (no more than 20 guests). Curbside pick-up and delivery are available, with family meal options available for to-go or delivery only. Delivery is free within Watkinsville city limits if at least one entrée is purchased. Delivery in a 6-mile radius outside of the city limit is available for orders $40 or more and minimum $10 delivery fee.
• Dickens Heating & Air remains open for service calls and new installations. Now offering free quotes on Ultravation Germicidal UV Air Treatment and 15% off services with proof of support of SANE through in-kind, monetary donation, or events within the last 12 months. • Dory’s Health, Home and Patio in Watkinsville is currently open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call (706) 769-7997.
• Doughby’s Pizza and More in Watkinsville is offering $1 cheese slices and a “Take and Bake” option. Carry out and a walk-up window is still available, and the store closes at 8 p.m.  
• Empire South Clothing has closed its Athens location, but customers can shop online and in-person at the Watkinsville store. Take 15% off your purchase including sales items.
• Epps, Holloway, DeLoach & Hoipkemier, LLC in Watkinsville is open for business and taking precautions to protect all employees and visitors.
• Fox’s Pizza Den in Bogart is offering carry out, and pizza kits for children. Order online or call (678) 661-0220 to place an order.
• Girasoles in Watkinsville is open normal business hours for dinner. They’re also offering call-in or take-out. Patrons are required to use hand sanitizer before entering the restaurant. Hand sanitizer is accessible for all customers.
• Hyatt’s Place Athens is open and offering deals for college students who have been misplaced. Employees are sanitizing everything customers come into contact with at least three times a day and employees are carrying and using hand sanitizer frequently throughout the day.
• Kiki’s Bake Shop in Watkinsville is currently open with normal business hours. Employees are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of customers such as taking their temperature every day before coming into work, implementing a strict cleaning regiment, and washing hands and sanitizing throughout the day. Customers can call ahead for curbside, and also offering free delivery within city limits and $5 delivery in Athens. Other than baked goods, Kiki’s is also selling local eggs, milk, and butter and each sale includes a free roll of toilet paper.
• Law Office of Anne D. Carter is continuing to serve clients. A strict cleaning regiment is in place to ensure the safety of visitors.
• Macy Gray Boutique in Watkinsville is offering Instagram and Facebook orders. An online website will be up and running soon with shipping options.
• Massage Envy in Athens is temporarily closed, but continuing to work with customers for upcoming appointments. The store manager is on location and available to fulfill product sales. Just contact athensgm@massageenvy.com for more information.
• Mutty Paws is open and offering curbside delivery and pick-up. Customers are asked to leave collars and leashes at home.
• Oconee Ninja World and Oconee Gymnastics & Cheer is currently closed until further notice. During the month of May, it will offer unlimited Open Gym for members.
• Pub on Main in Watkinsville is open for curbside pickup Friday and Saturday from 4-8 p.m. Payments can be taken over the phone and customers can call when they arrive, and an employee will bring the food out to the car.
• Sakred Bridal in Watkinsville has reduced the number of time slots available at the shop to 1-2 per day during the week, with more time added between sessions on Saturday for cleaning and sanitizing. Parties should be limited to 2-3 people and no children.
• So Be Well in Watkinsville is offering yoga therapy by appointment and tutoring via Zoom. Call (706) 250-0306 to schedule.
• Southern Spa and Patio in Watkinsville is currently open and offering free, local, no-contact delivery. There’s a current sale on all in-stock items and curbside pick-up is available on any BBQ supplies or hot tub chemicals. Local delivery is available on any patio furniture or grill purchases over $1,000. 
• State Farm in Watkinsville is working to minimize interruptions to customers while continuing to provide the personalized service you expect. Connect with them online, through their mobile app, or by phone. You can call Brian Jarrett at (706) 310-0107.
• The Stone Store in Watkinsville is open and continuing to serve customers.
• Wilson’s Auto Services in Bishop is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and continuing to serve customers. They offer a full automotive towing service for cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles. They also offer a mechanic shop.
• WOW Inflatables is open and continuing to serve customers. Call (678) 374-9485.
• Zaxby’s continues to offer drive-through options at all store locations and online ordering is also available.

Athens-Clarke County Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, Inc. (ACC-SANE, Inc.) is taking organizational measures to prepare for COVID-19. ACC-SANE, Inc. Leadership is following guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Department of Public Health (DPH) to ensure our medical providers have the protocols, processes and resources they need to deliver services.

We are also putting protocol in place for potential scenarios related to sick employees or contractors as a preventative measure. ACC-SANE, Inc. is committed to ongoing and open communication to reassure partner agencies, staff, patients, and our communities that we are fully engaged and prepared.

There are no plans to close or discontinue any services we offer. We are committed to our mission of conducting forensic medical exams for any adult or child who has experienced sexual and physical violence. Our specially trained nurses and advocates work hard to ensure that the men, women, and children we serve get the medical assistance and aftercare support that they need, and we will continue to ensure that our advocates and examiners have what they need to continue delivering services to patients in Clarke, Oconee, Walton, Morgan, Barrow, Jackson, Banks, Madison, Oglethorpe, and Greene counties.

As many of you know, our event was designed to coincide with the Watkinsville Christmas parade and tree lighting. On Monday afternoon the City of Watkinsville made the decision to move the aforementioned festivities to Sunday, December 15.

The change is to allow our community to celebrate together and honor the Oconee High School football team, which will be the city’s Honorary Parade Marshals led in by our Grand Marshal, Sheriff Scott Berry.

Because ACC-SANE serves and supports the Oconee County Community and activities that promote health and resilience in our youth, we will be joining the city and changing the date of the Very Merry Cookie Crawl as well.
